Suzlon Energy has further strengthened its strategic partnership with Tata Power Renewable Energy by securing a new 400 MW wind energy EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) contract. Driven by Suzlon’s DevCo-led growth strategy, this repeat order comes within just 12 months of their previous agreement, pushing the cumulative collaboration between the two clean energy giants past the 1 GW milestone across Karnataka, Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, and Andhra Pradesh.
Located in the Anantapur district of Andhra Pradesh, the project will feature the installation of 127 units of Suzlon’s flagship S144 wind turbine generators (each rated at 3.15 MW). Under the comprehensive EPC framework, Suzlon will oversee end-to-end project delivery—spanning land acquisition, turbine supply, balance of plant (BoP) works, pooling substation (PSS) development, extra high voltage (EHV) transmission lines, and commissioning, followed by long-term operations and maintenance (O&M) services.
This landmark project underscores the accelerating momentum of India’s clean energy transition and solidifies Suzlon’s position as a premier partner for utility-scale renewable energy deployment.
